I just want to express my intrigue about the fact of when I enter this website; I have the choices to search thru it in English or French but no Spanish.

Entiendo que la mayoría de usuarios son de habla Inglés,  pero si lo traducen al Francés ¿por qué no al español? ¿Acaso los Ticos no tenemos derecho de opinar? Huh?

Gracias,

Un Tico inconforme. Lips Sealed

Tico,

Less than 1% of the web hits are from people in Spanish speaking countries so I never went through with it. Dutch and German are 3rd and 4th right behind French. Those three make about 45% of the hits and English around 52%,

I hear you man,
I believe those numbers are the reality and the primary interest of the forum of having a high traffic.
I understand the entity of the forum is clear, is made mainly for foreign residents of the surrounding areas of Ojochal and I love the initiative but feel a little off by seeing that excludes those that don’t have the luck of being bilingual.
My comments go further than percentages and statistics my interests are directed to common sense and respect in the best terms. I see that all the local magazines are bilingual as most of the websites too.
I like being part of this forum and will enjoy seeing the accessibility of my similar, even if the percentages are minimum they should not be excluded, and who knows maybe there are a lot of people that don’t access it because they find a “closed door”.   Grin
